Hazel peacefully passed away at Hawick Community Hospital on the 27th August 2026 listening to Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton with her daughter by her side. Hazel, beloved wife of the late Ian, much loved mum to Michael and Fiona, proud granny to Christopher and Samantha, middle sister to Carol and the late Derek, Mary, and Tony. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Service to be held at St Cuthbert’s Church on Friday the 9th of October at 1pm and onwards to Borders Crematorium, Melrose at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please.

I was sorry to hear of your mum’s passing. I remember the times I’d see her at her market stall and the great times you me and Drew used to spend listening to your music and watching films at your mum and dad’s house.
