It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gus. Gus passed away peacefully on 24 May, 2026, aged 82, at Muirfield Nursing Home, Gullane surrounded by his family. Devoted husband of Maureen, loving father of Ian and his partner Fiona and Lyn and her husband Stuart. Adoring grandfather to Ben, Cara and Ross. A memorial service will be held at East Lothian Crematorium on Wednesday, 10 June at 1.30pm this will be followed by a celebration of Gus’ life at The Mallard Hotel, Gullane EH31 2AF. No flowers please, donations if desired, may be made in Gus’ memory to Gullane Day Centre. Please wear bright colours.
